Antalya to Alanya by bus: AA01

City bus AA01 runs between Antalya and Alanya. It leaves from the bus station's district platform, passes Serik and Manavgat on the D400 and runs past the hotels of Okurcalar, İncekum, Avsallar, Türkler and Konaklı to Alanya's bus station. It's a long ride, close to two and a half hours; the travel times and departures below come from the timetable.

Going for the day? Check the times first

AA01's timetable is lopsided: the first bus leaves Antalya late in the morning and the last one back leaves Alanya in the late afternoon. On a day trip that gives you a few hours in Alanya, and if you miss the last bus there's no city bus back the same day. See the first and last departures on the cards below.

From the bus station to Alanya

AA01 leaves from the bus station's district platform, the same one the Kemer and Manavgat buses use.

Avsallar, Konaklı and the hotels along the coast

Before reaching Alanya, AA01 stops along the D400 in Okurcalar, İncekum, Avsallar, Türkler and Konaklı. Most hotels there are on either side of the road, so find the stop outside yours on the map and get off there. On the way back, board on the other side of the road.

Worth knowing

  • There's no official word that the Antalyakart or contactless bank cards work on the district lines, and passengers report paying mostly in cash. Carry Turkish lira and ask the driver as you board. The fare depends on distance and is several times a city ticket.
  • AA01 doesn't go into Manavgat itself; it only stops on the D400. For Manavgat and Side, see the separate guide to line MAN47.
  • Alanya's bus station is west of the centre. Alanya's city buses aren't in Varda; to get into town you take a local bus, a dolmuş or a taxi.
  • Varda shows when the next bus will reach your stop from its live position. The app can follow your ride and tell you when your stop is coming up, which helps with the look-alike stops along the D400.

Times and durations are from the timetable; traffic can change them. The line and stop pages show the buses live.
