Kurşunlu Waterfall by bus: MK80 from Kaleiçi and Upper Düden

Kurşunlu Waterfall sits in a nature park north-east of the city. MK80 runs there without a change from Demirciler Çarşısı, right next to Kaleiçi, and passes Upper Düden on the way, so it's easy to see both waterfalls in one day. Travel times and departures below come from the timetable.

From Kaleiçi to Kurşunlu: MK80

MK80 leaves from the Demirciler Çarşısı stop next to Kaleiçi. The İsmetpaşa stop of the T1A and T1B trams is about 100 metres away, so if you're coming by tram, get off there and walk over. The bus heads north via Kepez Belediyesi and Sütçüler Caddesi, passes Upper Düden and, after Topallı, ends at Kurşunlu Şelalesi.

Kurşunlu Şelalesi is the last stop, so there's no risk of missing it. You walk into the park from here. Opening hours and the entrance fee aren't in our timetable data, so check them before you go.

Watch out: the tram's Kurşunlu stop

The T1B tram has stops called Kurşunlu1 and Kurşunlu2, but they're about 6.7 km from the waterfall as the crow flies. Don't let the name on the tram map fool you: for the falls, take MK80.

Two waterfalls in one day: Kurşunlu and Upper Düden

MK80 passes Upper Düden in both directions, so one line covers both waterfalls. Ride out to Kurşunlu first, then on the way back get off a returning MK80 at Düden Şelalesi 1. After Upper Düden, catch the next MK80 from that stop to Demirciler Çarşısı, or MZ78 to Cumhuriyet Meydanı. There's also a separate Düden guide that covers Lower and Upper Düden in detail.

It works the other way round too: get off at Düden Şelalesi 2 on the way out, and after Upper Düden carry on to Kurşunlu with the next MK80 from the same stop. The two stops face each other across the road: Düden Şelalesi 2 is for Kurşunlu, Düden Şelalesi 1 for the centre.

Back from the waterfall to the centre

The MK80 back to the centre leaves from the Kurşunlu Şelalesi stop where you got off: the line starts here in that direction, so there's no road to cross. The stop card also lists MK81, MK81A and 188, but from here MK81 and MK81A only head towards Aksu and don't run often, and 188 makes a single trip a day. For the centre, take MK80.

Worth knowing

  • Buses are usually paid with an Antalyakart, and MK80 is an ordinary city line. Our separate Antalyakart guide explains where to get the card and how to use it.
  • MK80 runs often throughout the day. Saturdays follow the weekday timetable; on Sundays there are fewer buses, and the line page shows the times for each type of day. If you're heading back in the evening, check the last departure on the return card above.
  • Varda shows when the next bus will reach your stop from its live position. The app can follow your ride and tell you when your stop is coming up, which helps when getting off at Düden: the line passes long runs of look-alike numbered stops on Sütçüler Cd. and Gaziler Cd.

Times and durations are from the timetable; traffic can change them. The line and stop pages show the buses live.
