Getting to Kaleiçi (Antalya old town) by bus and tram
Kaleiçi is Antalya's walled old town. Its narrow lanes are closed to traffic, so buses and trams run along its edge and you walk the last few hundred metres. The good news: the stops around it are served by lines from almost everywhere in the city.
By tram: İsmetpaşa
Trams T1A and T1B pass just north of Kaleiçi. The closest stop is İsmetpaşa, a short walk from Kalekapısı, the main gate. Coming from the airport or the bus station, this is the easiest way with no change. The stop has one side per direction: İsmetpaşa1 towards the airport and Expo, İsmetpaşa2 towards Fatih.

By bus: Cumhuriyet Meydanı and Üç Kapılar
Many lines stop at Cumhuriyet Meydanı (Republic Square), among them KL08, which links Konyaaltı and Lara. From the square it's a few minutes' walk to Kalekapısı and the clock tower. To enter through Hadrian's Gate (Üç Kapılar) instead, get off at Muratpaşa Üç Kapılar.

Between the museum and Kaleiçi: line 998
Line 998 runs a short route between Zerdalilik and the Antalya Museum along the edge of the old town. The Kale Kapı stops are right at Kalekapısı. It's handy for going from the museum to Kaleiçi, or from Kaleiçi towards Konyaaltı.

Tips
- Stops with the same name sit on opposite sides of the road. Check the direction shown on the stop page to be sure you're waiting on the right side.
- Kaleiçi slopes down to the harbour, so on the way back you'll climb up to the stops.
- Evenings get busy. Varda shows when your bus will really arrive, so you can finish your walk instead of waiting at the stop.
